Small, neat buti motifs in soft sage and olive on a pale blue-grey ground — each motif printed with a white oval resist that gives the design a clean, defined quality. Subtle and versatile. Particularly good for projects where you need a small-scale print that doesn't compete.

Hand block printed in Sanganer, Rajasthan using a technique with roots going back over 400 years. Sanganeri printing is recognised by its fine, detailed floral and botanical motifs — butis (small scattered motifs), butas (larger individual motifs), jaal (all-over floral nets), and bel (trailing vine borders) — applied to a light or white base cloth. Each colour is printed separately using hand-carved wooden blocks. The result is a delicate, intricate print that carries the subtle marks of its maker. Minor variations in print alignment and colour are part of the hand-made process.

Machine wash at 30°. Some colour release on first wash is normal — it settles. Pre-wash before sewing if you prefer.
